I loved the first episode of the new series of Chef’s table on Netflix. I’d highly recommend the Chef’s table anyway but this years series is Pastry/Sweet treats season which is music to my ears (and eyes). The first episode of the series starts off with Christina Tosi from Milk in New York. She is a genius in sweet treats and glows as she works and thinks of new ideas.
It was so inspiring to see someone who is over the moon with her job and is joyus as she talks about it. The episode shows us where she started and how she mixed her love of sugar into a dream job. It shows the workings of her ideas and how she thought they weren’t good enough for a restaurant or might be a bit mad, but were always the most amazing thing that anyone has tasted.
The whole episode is a feast for the eyes but I’d suggest that you watch it with a cookie or something sweet to eat.
